R&D & Medical
Our R&D capability supports BPL’s strategy for new product development, prioritising the movement of new products along the development lifecycle, and into the commercial market.
Production
Led by UK-based specialists in plasma therapies, and supported by an experienced team, we apply our scientific expertise and resources to improve existing production and the development of new products, using the latest developments in medical science and clinical practice.
Engineering
By improving efficiency, compliance and reliability, the team work to build supply organisation capability to meet the needs of our customers in supplying compliant medicine.

The Elstree site is home to the main headquarters of BPL, located on a historic site formerly home to the Lister Institute, with over 1000 colleagues involved in operations and commercial activity, customer services and administration.
